Chief Smith is the current Chief of Police for the Village of McComb. Chief Smith has been with the McComb Police Department as a full-time officer since 1997 before being promoted to Chief of Police in 2005.

  • 1997 Graduate of Terra State Community College with Associate degree in Police Science
  • 1997 Graduate of Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy – Basic Academy (OPOTA)
  • Employed the Summer of 1996 and 1997 by Cedar Point Police Department
  • Employed by McComb Police Department from 1997 till 2005 as a Patrol Officer / Investigator
  • Promoted by McComb Police Department as Chief of Police in 2005 till present date
  • 2011 Graduate of Tiffin University with Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice Administration
